For meditation, someone recommended to me a book called “Real Happiness.” He then mentioned you can skip the book and download the audio files and it’s just as good ( http://www.workman.com/static/realhappinessebook/ ). If you feel bad about downloading the audio files and not paying, you can probably try to meditate away the stress. If it works you’re all set, and if it doesn’t work, then you can be glad you didn’t pay for them.

I tried listening to the first one and I fell asleep. I’m not sure if that means it worked or it didn’t.

Ha, thanks Des. Man, after re-reading that blog post there are a lot of things I would do differently if I knew what I know now when I wrote that! I guess hindsight is 20:20. But thanks, I did mean it and focusing, regardless of anything else, was the right thing to do to get where things are today.

What a fantastic idea.

I definitely suffer from poor recall of everything from major project i have worked on to what i had for breakfast yesterday. I’ll start a daily list myself, see if it can jog my memory.
